How to export your Liquality Wallet seedphrase

Starting June 15th, we will be discontinuing the Liquality Wallet. To ensure continued access to your funds, it's essential to secure your seed phrase if you haven't done so already. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the process of exporting your Liquality Wallet seed phrase and importing it into Phantom Wallet, which supports most of the chains that Liquality does. 

For Rootstock BTC, we recommend using the Defiant Wallet. The steps presented in this tutorial should be similar regardless whether you are importing Liquality wallet to Phantom, Defiant or any another wallet.

• Step 1
Log into your wallet using your Liquality password

• Step 2
Navigate to the upper right corner and click the hamburger menu. It will expand an options menu. Click the option ‘Backup seed phrase’.

• Step 3
Agree to the risks and provide your password. Make sure you are in a safe environment when you proceed to the next step.

• Step 4
You can now view your seed phrase word-by-word by hovering over the numbers.
Write down and secure the whole seed phrase.

Once you have your Liquality seed phrase written down, it is time to start using Phantom Wallet. If you haven’t already, you can download Phantom Wallet here.

• Step 5
Open Phantom Wallet, click ‘Import an existing Wallet’

• Step 6
Click ‘Import Secret Recovery Phrase’

• Step 7
Write down your whole seed phrase in the text boxes. It is important that the words are in the exact same order as they were exported. (This is a test account, there is no tokens in this account). Then proceed to click ‘Import Wallet’

• Step 8
You will now see all the accounts associated with this seed phrase, something like this:

To proceed, click ‘continue’

• Step 9
Create a password for your Phantom wallet, and click continue.

• Step 10
You can now enjoy the features of Phantom Multichain wallet!
